MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – August 9, 2010 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Wayne Carr, Department of Public Works Superintendent
Robert Littlefield, Fire Chief

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Discussed a “Plan of Work” that was received from Wayne Carr. The Board of Selectmen reminded Wayne that they had requested the Department of Public Works and the Tolland Volunteer Fire Department to clean and thin out both the DPW garage and Fire House by September 1, 2010.
Alan Binder made a suggestion that the town should inform the residence in advance as to who is running for office. The Selectmen informed Alan that the positions are posted and will take the suggestion under advisement.
